During normal use, when you take the sensors out of the case, they should turn on automatically. Once stored in the case, they are equipped with a light sensor (see article on the meaning of LEDs) that allows them to go into standby mode, which saves battery power.
However, when you take them out, it may take a few seconds for them to turn on.
If they still do not turn on after this time, you can charge them in the connected case to ensure that they have sufficient battery power.
